Job Description

AMG is partnering with leading law firms and corporate legal departments to hire Document Review Attorneys for remote project-based opportunities. This role will support complex litigation and investigations by reviewing electronically stored information (ESI), identifying key issues, and ensuring accurate and consistent document coding throughout the review process.

Location: Remote (California Licensed Attorneys Only)

Compensation: $25-$35/hour, depending on project and experience

What you'll be doing

  • Reviewing electronic documents for relevance, responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality, and key case issues
  • Applying coding decisions in accordance with project protocols and review guidelines
  • Conducting first-level (L1), second-level (L2), quality control (QC), and privilege reviews as needed
  • Identifying potentially responsive, confidential, and privileged materials
  • Assisting with privilege logs and issue-spotting during review projects
  • Collaborating with review teams, project managers, and supervising attorneys to maintain accuracy and consistency
  • Utilizing platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, and similar technologies to complete review assignments efficiently
  • Meeting productivity, quality, and deadline expectations across active matters

What you'll need to have

  • Active California law license in good standing
  • Prior document review experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, Concordance, Viewpoint, or similar review platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large volumes of documents accurately
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and secure workspace
